I have spent now 4 days attempting to download the app with no success.

I have performed a fresh install of Microsoft Windows 10 OS Tried two different Microsoft accounts, turned off Firewalls and Antivirus. I have run scripts to try and fix Microsoft Store, I have reset cache, I have modified her user account on her PC, created a new user account on PC. I have attempted to download the app for the past 4 days. Again assuming this app offers an option to connect it on a Windows 10 Computer. So, Yes I have installed the Fitbit connect in the link which BTW does not have an option for Charge 3, Only Mobile device. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. The installer then points me to Microsoft Store to download the app, assuming because it sees Windows 10 OS. I'll be around if you have questions about it.

Thanks for your feedback, we're always trying to update the Fitbit app to have a better way to communicate with your Fitbit device. Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community. I am currently running Windows build 3.194 on a Sony Vaio laptop They send me to the windows store because they see I need an upgraded version.

fitbit files already downloaded onto my laptop also fail to run. I have tried using fitbit connect instead, using the PC not windows 10 version, but it hangs and doesn't download either. I have manually downloaded the latest windows 10 upgrades, but the store issue has yet to be resolved. I think the store issue is related to a windows 10 automatic update. I have done a windows store reset and that didn't work either. I have checked my date and time (which is apparently related to that error code) and it is correct. The windows store gives me the error code 0x80072F8F. I tried uninstalling the app and then it wouldn't reinstall. This worked until Oct 18, and then it stopped, then suddenly synced Oct 23, and then that was it. My surge stopped syncing in August, but I was able to uninstall the app and reinstall using an older exe file, although I had to do this every couple of days.
